Model and artist James Tsang translates beauty and pain to canvas

Model and artist James Tsang began his fashion career at the age of 18. Since then, he has worked with bluechip clients such as Gucci, Calvin Klein, Armani, and Balenciaga and has graced the pages of GQ, V Man, and Oyster magazine.

Not just a talent in front of the camera, Tsang is a also visual artist, having begun painting at an early age. Tsang credits his father and grandfather as his earliest influences, drawing from their love of Chinese calligraphy and bird imagery in his work.

The award winning artist is also a trained opera singer, pianist, and basketball player, and graduated from Australia’s National Art School in 2016.
With several projects and collaborations currently in the works, we can expect to see more of Tsang this year.
